Planting in autumn (for early spring blooms):
- When? Late September to November.
- Where? In a cool greenhouse or outdoors in milder climates.
- Important: Keep soil temperature below 15 °C during root growth.
Planting in spring (for summer blooms):
- When? February to April.
- Where? Start in a cool greenhouse and move outdoors once there is no risk of frost, or plant directly outdoors if there is no risk of severe frost.
- Important: Start at 5-10 °C, and ensure the surrounding temperature does not exceed 20 °C once the plants begin to emerge.
